Stiff breeze greeted me but from the south west ... while I was mostly walking north east :) towards Porthcurno, where I stopped to eat lunch on the beach (a Cornish pasty, what else?!) and then this afternoon on to the pretty fishing village of Mousehole. After 13 miles of up and down, with a pack on my back, I can feel it! Still, now only about 360 miles to go until I reach Poole some time in November ...

Day One: Land's End to Mousehole
So today I kicked off my big walk, catching an early train to Penzance, then a taxi to Land's End before setting out ...
Stiff breeze greeted me but from the south west ... while I was mostly walking north east :) towards Porthcurno, where I stopped to eat lunch on the beach (a Cornish pasty, what else?!) and then this afternoon on to the pretty fishing village of Mousehole.
